Last FM site

Last FM is basically a newer social networking site with a strong focus on music. You sign up and then downlod a program which connects with your itunes or windows media player. It then reports all music you play to Last FM. What Last FM can then do is recommend other music to you and compile charts of what people are listening to now. From the looks of the top 100 chart on the site, the site is being dominated by rock/alt fans. Groups like My Chemical Romance, Killers and Panic at the Disco! dominate the chart right now. So while it is an interesting notion, the site might not exactly capture the essence of what hip-hop users are listening to so much. http://www.last.fm
