The Real World T.I.?
While the 20 year old roommates battle it out over kitchen cleanup and who stole who's girl on Real World Hollywood, a new reality show is in the works about a rapper's legal ordeal. Rapper T.I. (Clifford Harris) is about to serve a sentence for gun possession and other charges, and that makes for interesting reality TV for some. The smart folks from MTV decided they'd buy into a new 8 part reality TV series about the rapper. The series is designed to show TI's legal woes and how he's performing his community service hours as payback. According to Billboard.com: Ish Entertainment will follow the hip-hop star while he performs more than 1,000 hours of community service before starting a one-year prison sentence on weapons charges next spring, according an Atlantic spokesperson. TI is also working on a new album called "Paper Trail" due out August 12th, and his current single "No Matter What" is #19 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart at Billboard. No word on if a series will be made about Remy Ma or other hip hop stars who are serving time, but MTV might be looking into season 2 already.
