Kanye West will give 2010 MTV VMA's Performance

(Kanye - "I'mma let you finish") Have the MTV viewers forgave and forgotten Kanye West? According to the latest reports, rap star Kanye West will be a performer at this year's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA's). The rapper is infamous for his on-stage interruption when Taylor Swift was winning her first ever VMA at the show in 2009. The incident brought a lot of negative criticism towards Kanye and rightfully so. Now it appears Kanye's back with new perspective. He apologized multiple times to Swift and publicly, but are fans ready to re-embrace the rapper? He appeared as part of the 2010 remake of "We are the World", and kept a low profile otherwise. Kanye had a few guest spots and production offerings to the likes of Rick Ross and Drake among others. It left fans wondering what was next for Kanye in terms of his own solo career. Have no fear, weeks ago Mr. West re-emerged with a new song, but it offered no apologies. Kanye's latest hit single is "Power" an ego-driven rap which will come from his next solo album "Good Ass Job". Recently, he debuted another song featuring Beyonce from the album due out in November. Kanye's already performed for the BET Awards, but really needs to do a "Good Ass Job" on stage at this year's VMA's in order to sell music lovers on his act once again. The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards air live on Sunday, September 12 at 9PM ET. Will you be watching as Kanye West takes the stage at the VMA's, or changing the channel?

Real World DC cast boring? Fresh Meat up next!

(Callie gets topless on Real World DC finale) Wednesday night saw the sad? conclusion to yet another season of Real World. It seemed to fly by, because these kids were just having too much fun. According to a recent article at Gawker, that's all they've been doing lately. Drinking, having sex and panda-ing or pandering to the camera. At least on the upcoming return to New Orleans season someone's tooth brush gets pissed on and the cops are called in to investigate. Not sure if it's Puck's son, or a new hellraising cast member. The latest show was set in our nation's capital, to try to show us that some people are concerned with issues. When the DC series first started, there was no mention of any internships or the roommates being required to get a job. That's because they didn't have to this time around. Maybe it's because in Cancun we saw one roommate get canned for not working, and another kicked out of the apartment for horsing around. Still, both found their way back into the show. But let's not digress. Let's sum up what we saw and might have learned on the Real World DC from the characters: The only roommates who really seemed to score bigtime were the goofy kid, Josh and Ty when Emily was giving it up. Otherwise we didn't really see Erika, Ashley or Callie get much action. The Vegas cast must have shut their TV's off halfway through this season. Emily and Ty were really into each other but couldn't have a relationship because Emily can't figure herself out so she pushes people away. She translates that into some sort of animosity towards Ty due to her sexual frustration, but then blames him, when after all he was the one who revealed his true feelings about their relationship. Ashley is the "realest" one in the house because she can be a bitch and tell everyone what's up. But she has deep issues and cries when she can't stand the heat. She may have been the main reason that Erika left the house. Erika is just like Ashley, she fights depression, but she just can't stay in the house. She wasn't happy there and she didn't develop any close enough friendships to really stick it out. The roomies get pissed because they think she just can't live without her boyfriend and is being whiny. Ashley is the biggest instigator of them all though and keeps pushing Erika. Finally, Erika decides to leave the place early (two weeks before the show ends which is probably a month or so real life time) to go be with her boyfriend in Cleveland. According to the RW Reunion show she did pretty well for herself in Cleveland after leaving. Mike let us all know just where he was at sexually, or did he? One minute he's in love with Tanner, the next he's making out with Ashley, or Callie, or finds some guy at the club "irresistible". On the final episode, Mike made his greatest victory speech of all, as a big step towards politics when he told a blurred out citizen wielding anti-gay signs how he felt, and tried to make peace. Good thing Mike's dad was with him, he had his back. We saw countless examples of Mike beaming because he met some politician who told him he "had a future". Don't politicians tell most people that? Callie likes photography and it's a very challenging career but she's going to be a bigtime photographer. On the final episode she sold some of her photos for a charity event and it was her defining moment of the season. That and when she had to go topless for RW Truth or Dare, making Ty and the male roomies go gaga. Otherwise she was pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of DC. Josh is a bigtime rock-rap-star who can't sing too well, but can perform like the best of them. He found a band before the other aspiring singer, Erica. Josh had his first big show on the second to last episode of the season, and totally rocked it in front of his roomies and a crowd of about 100. He likes to wear black vests, skinny jeans and cool shades. Don't hit on his bisexual mom, even if you're a big dude like Ty, or he'll knock your ass out. Andrew was the most un-funny panda-hat wearing roommate ever cast on the show. His schtick was drawing cartoons, acting goofy, raunchy and sexually awkward around girls. Yet, he was the one who ended up with a girlfriend while everyone else went home alone. Andrew also had a one show internship where he got to follow a real life newspaper reporter around and then draw a cartoon about their visit to the White House. The newspaper boss loved his cartoon, but we never saw him go back to work, ever again. He also got dropped on his head off a balcony by Ty, and Ty wasn't kicked out of the house, because Ty was like a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with alcohol. The roomies held one of those serious meetings in which nothing really happened, except they all got to defer to the next roommate's decision. Classic fights and feuds: Andrew & Ashley's pizza shoving match, Ashley vs Erika's tantrums, Emily vs Ty in the sexual frustration match, everyone versus Ashley...basically this season was not good TV for arguments or fights. And with that we end this 23rd politically-charged season of the Real World. The roommates all attended a gay and lesbian pride parade on the final episode so it appeared like they did something. Who knows how many of the cast members would have survived if MTV made them work at a job again, but at least they weren't rewarded for their laziness with another free trip to Europe or Cancun. That Fresh Meat challenge show will be starting up next Wednesday. On that one, the kids have to participate in actual physical tasks, but they're still allowed to call each other names, throw punches (that don't connect), drink and hook up. Ashley Lindley Playboy after Real World DC?

(Ashley Lindley ready to take it all off for Playboy?) Fans looking to see Real World D.C. cast member Ashley Lindley naked might get their wishes granted. The current roomie on MTV's DC season of the Real World did a private test shooting for Playboy and was photographed by Mikki Chernoff before being selected to the Real World cast. So don't rule out the possibility that an Ashley Lindley Playboy spread could still happen. Ashley has admitted she enjoyed the test shoot and would do it again if she had the chance: "They were incredibly professional," she continued. "[They] made me feel very comfortable and I had a lot of fun ... In my opinion, Playboy is a tasteful magazine that shows women in their natural form beautifully. I feel honored that they were even remotely interested in me." She was recently seen on the Wednesday Real World DC Aftershow hosted by Mark Long. Ashley sported a short and low-cut pink skirt, along with black boots and a big belt (in pics). She tweeted on her Twitter account she was happy with the feedback about her wardrobe selection: I was so scared I'd get the "you're fat and can't dress" like last aftershow comments hahaha @msCALLIE about 16 hours ago aww, I love that y'all love my outfit. To answer your ?'s: dress- wet seal, boots- steve madden, belt- H&M, hoops and some crimpin ;) Ashley Lindley is currently 22 years old and has been at the center of at least three fights in the household so far. She had her first dispute with Mike, then one with Andrew when she accused him of roughousing too much (almost as if she was looking for drama), and then a more recent period of arguing with Erika. Ashley had Erika in tears on several occasions and at one point it looked like Erika was ready to leave the DC house for good. They also discussed on the DC Aftershow the hot topic of who may have had sex in the DC house, with host Mark Long suggesting maybe Mike and Lindsey had sex. The duo was a bit secretive and non-responsive in terms of giving a clear answer, but Ashley noted on her Twitter profile that they'll reveal their answer on the DC Reunion show...Stay tuned for whether or note there's an Ashley Lindley nude Playboy pictorial waiting to be published in the tradition of other former MTV femme fatales who have graced the mag's pages. Lil' Mama issues MTV VMA Apology

Now both of last night's troublemakers from the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards have made public apologies for their meddlesome activities. Kanye West blogged his and Lil Mama released a statement of her own, about her reasons for jumping on stage at the end of Jay-Z & Alicia Key's "Empire State of Mind" performance. From EW: Lil Mama has issued a statement to explain why she ran on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. “I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,” the rapper/America’s Best Dance Crew judge says. “I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up on stage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.” Fans continue to be irate over her actions saying that other rap stars who rep New York were in the audience but chose to stay in their seats. Beyonce had more right to be on stage than Lil' Mama, the former Lip Gloss queen, but as we all know B has what Lil' Mama and Kanye West lack: class. Unfortunately it seems as if the MTV VMA's have turned into more of a high school talent show, in terms of the way attendees get involved. In these instances though, there's no strict principal to grab the rowdy individual by their neck and yank them off stage. Kanye West & Lil Mama probably aided the MTV awards by making some noise and generating buzz, but neither did anything worthy of an award, and both need to learn to stay in their seats when attending a show. That is unless, they'd allow fans to randomly run up on stage and hang with them during performances. Well, only Kanye needs to worry about that one...

Kanye West Blog Apology to Taylor Swift

After last night's MTV Music awards 2009 Kanye West Taylor Swift incident, the rapper issued an apology to Taylor Swift, her fans and mother. Since there's no official Kanye West Twitter page (Ye hates the site), he used the next best thing, his blog. From Kanye's blog: "I'm so sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment! Beyonce's video was the best of this decade!!! I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!! I'm sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw (tomorrow). Welcome to the real world!!! Everybody wanna boo me but I'm a fan of real pop culture! No disrespect but we watchin' (watching) the show at the crib right now cause...well you know!!! I'm still happy for Taylor!!! Booyaa. You are very very talented. The stage-rushing incident came early on in the show, moments after Madonna had made a speech remembering Michael Jackson, and then a tribute performance was done on stage with Jackson dancers, and the late singer's sister arriving out to perform "Scream". Taylor Swift had just won the Best Female video VMA and while she was on stage with her moon man award statue, West interrupted, yanking the mic from her hands to proclaim Beyonce's "Single Ladies" as one of the best videos of all time. After West left the stage, Swift stood in silence stunned. She began her speech but the MTV people chose to start showing a video skit on the big screen featuring Tracy Morgan, which cut her off. Later in the show, Beyonce won Video of the Year, and in a moment of true grace, she invited Swift back on stage to have her award-winning moment. Many are now praising Beyonce for her move, while Kanye continues to get the not so friendly treatment. Fans and celebs alike were buzzing and downright mad about Kanye's interference, as singers Pink and Katy Perry sounded off on Twitter. It's unlikely we'll see any Pink, Borat, or Katy Perry collaborations with West anytime soon. Whether Jay-Z was fashionably late or it was just part of the show, the rapper closed out the strange, controversial and interesting 2009 MTV VMA's with a hardcore rap performance. Jay-Z took to the stage after MTV continually announced he was on his way to the venue several times. Possibly to build hype, or he really was late for the show. Still it was a spirited and boisterous performance by the duo of Jay's Blueprint 3 hit song "Empire State of Mind". Jay's wife Beyonce bootylicious self was shown dancing front row to the track. Notice in the video and pic above, Alicia Keys is wondering what the hell she's doing there. I'm sure she got a talking to later on. The one-hit wonder of "Lip Gloss" fame showed up to pose next to Jay and Alicia Keys following their triumphant performance on stage. Many fans and reviewers of the show believe maybe Lil' Mama was high, but more likely she just wanted her 15 seconds of fame as she isn't relevant right now. Kanye West's Swift VMA Entrance 2009

(Kanye interrupts Swift's award moment, MTV VMA 2009) Another year, another controversial MTV live awards show goes down in history. And yet another MTV VMA's where awards were given to recognize music videos rarely even seen on MTV. But as of September 13th and beyond, the internet will continue to buzz about the MTV VMA Awards show 2009 edition, including "What did Kanye West do?" and "Who is Russell Brand?" It didn't take rapper Kanye West long at all to get himself in hot water at yet another MTV awards show. This time around, West wasn't even griping about himself losing an award. Instead, he rushed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift's award acceptance for Best Female video, and basically proclaimed that Beyonce had been robbed of the award. Beyonce had a stunned reaction in the crowd, and the audience eventually turned against Ye with boos. It was also reported that various celebs were not happy with Kanye, including Pink who gave him a disgusted look as she walked by. MTV Shows All was not lost though, as Beyonce later won Video of the Year for "Single Ladies" and during her acceptance invited Taylor Swift back on stage to have her moment. Beyonce claimed she knew what it was like to win for the first time when she won with Destiny's Child a while back. Taylor graciously thanked all the fans, and her little brother's high school for allowing them to film the video. The impressive opening moment of the show saw Madonna come out at the opening to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. Madonna recalled a story of when she tried to get to know the shy superstar. She also brought up how they grew apart, and how a "witch-hunt" began for Michael. Madonna talked of Jackson being unique and rare, but also a human being who we unfortunately had to lose to appreciate more. From there they launched into a tribute to Jackson, with classic videos playing on the big screen and dancers on stage recreating the moves while decked out in classic MJ costumes. The opening bit also saw a surprise performance from the late Michael's sister, Janet as she exploded out onto the stage to do her part from "Scream" while the black and white spaced out video played behind her. Jermaine and Joe Jackson were in the house to see the unveiling of concert footage from a Michael Jackson movie that will be released at a later date. Still wondering who the host was? It was British actor Russell Brand of Forgetting Sarah Marshall fame who hosted the fast-paced show which lacked comedic punch. Wale performed with a house band in various segments to the side of the stage. The post show seemed to lack anything special as they analyzed the "Tweets" from Twitter regarding the show. To make things even stranger, MTV correspondent and personality Sway tried to call his brother on his new LG phone to get his opinion of the show. Fortunately for Sway and MTV, it went to voice mail. Real World Cancun Episode 7 - LMFAO Band

On MTV's Real World Cancun episode 7 (season 22), the household hookups were spotlighted, a band named LMFAO visited, and Joey Rozmus was sent packing. One of the major themes of the "Peak Week" epsidoe was hookups, with Bronne, Joey, Derek all getting some while poor little Jasmine was unable to woo her prospect Pat. Pat's the guy she's been frustrated with for some time, and in the latest episode of RW, Jasmine literally threw herself at Pat, only to be rejected. Pat claimed he wanted to get to know her, and of course this made Jasmine want him even more. However, Jasmine's frustrations came out as she was shown breaking objects and punching walls in the house. Later in the show, we saw Johnna getting very cozy with Pat, seeming to flirt right in front of Jasmine. Jasmine was not too pleased about it. The roommates latest job for Student City was to entertain the LMFAO band. LMFAO is an electro-hip hop group consisting of DJ/rappers Redfoo and Sky Blu. They were accompanied by a manager and dancer as well. The roomies had to make sure the band was enjoying themselves, got what they needed, and that their shows went off without any complications. Bronne was the lead project manager for it all, and Joey stepped up big to help him out during the concert. Ayiiia was shown sitting around doing nothing on the job, which infuriated Bronne just a bit. LMFAO performed their hit song "I'm in Miami B---h" substituting Cancun in for Miami, and the crowd was loving it. By the way LMFAO is signed to Interscope and has also done a track with rapper/producer Lil' Jon called "Shots". Their album is Party Rock, which consists of 15 tracks. (LMFAO Myspace page) The big surprise of the episode (which was ruined by Mark Long on his after show commercials during the breaks), was when Joey Rozmus was fired from Student City and told to leave the Real World Cancun. The incident came when Joey was asked to work a morning shift luncheon/breakfast, which would require him to rise early in the morning (8am or so). He asked fellow roomie CJ to set the alarm for him, but somehow the two of them overslept, never heard an alarm, and CJ didn't realize it until about 2 hours too late. Joey tried to plead his case on the phone to Student City boss Christina, but it was to no avail. Even CJ and Bronne tried to support Joey's case, but they had no luck either. Joey was handed a plane ticket back home to Massachusetts, and said farewells to the cast members he could find before having to go. Ayiiia was of course ecstatic to see Joey go home. So now we're down to 7 roommates like the old days, and there wasn't really any mention if a replacement will be added in place of Joey. On the Real World After Show, we saw Joey reunited with some of his roommates since being kicked off. Bronne, Jasmine and Jonna were all there to discuss the latest episode. Joey mentioned that he was at a point where he was just ready to go back home to be around family and friends, so it wasn't a big deal. Jasmine and Johnna discussed the whole Pat situation, and from the looks of upcoming previews that situation will get even more interesting. Real World Cancun's Aiiiya Gives Inside Scoop

Acording to Aiiiya of MTV's 2009 Real World Cancun, the upcoming fourth episode of the show will be one of the most serious and severe in terms of drama. Apparently, Aiiiya gets into an altercation with fellow roomie CJ, and things just go south from there. In the video clip below, Christina the "boss lady" from Student City, gives some further insight on the various cast members, including her thoughts on the hookups. Aiiiya talks about her sexy hookup with Emilee Fitzpatrick from Ep 2, as well as the house hating on Aiiiya. Real World Cancun's Emilee & Aiiiyah Hookup & Blowup

(RW Cancun's Emilee & Aiiiya kiss then head to bed) It was an emotionally-charged third episode of the Real World Cancun. There were several themes in the episode including the always popular "Boys vs. Girls", "Girl on Girl action" and "Everyone hates Aiiiyah". Did I mention each of those themes involved Aiiiyah? There were several blowups during this episode and pretty much each one involved the internet-supplied cast member, feisty Aiiiyah. In the earliest part of the show she left a club without her 7 other roomies having any clue where she went. They spent a good 45 minutes looking for her, and finally Johnna found her. Later on, Aiiyah seemed ungrateful for her roommates seeking her out in the situation. Things shifted gradually to more of a Aiiyah, Emilee and Jasmine clique in the house, with Johnna being shown as the guy's girl, hanging out with all the boys and being aloof from the girls. Things got hot and heavy as Emilee and Aiiiyah began to profess their "crushes" on one another. After a girls' night out, reality TV fans were treated to some girl-on-girl action. Aiiiyah and Emilee hooked up, sleeping together in the same bed, and forcing Johnna out of the room. The next day Emilee and Aiiiyah realized what they had done with no regrets, since Emilee had done it before. Aiiiyah admitted she was hesitant about it because of her trust issues. Later still, the episode progressed to Emilee getting upset at the male roommates for 1)leaving for a night out without taking her and Jasmine, and 2)being drunken and obnoxious the next morning as the crew prepared to head off on their training for work. Emilee battled the males and Jasmine seemed to support her, but Aiiiyah said she wasn't getting involved. This set Emilee off and made her stay out of the group activities including swimming with the dolphins. Emilee later came to the guys to apologize, realizing that the problem was Aiiiyah. The girls began to realize Aiiiyah tends to want their support in an argument but doesn't offer hers back. This ultimately erupted into arguments between Jasmine and Aiiiyah and Emilee and Aiiiyah. We saw instances of CJ, Jasmine, and Emilee all having trouble conversating with Aiiiyah. In episode 2, it was Joey spitting in Aiiiyah's tacos after she pissed him off. CJ said he just felt he didn't want to waste the time on her negativity. Jasmine walked out of the room due to Aiiiyah's issues. As the latest episode closed out, once again it was Aiiiyah in an argument with Emilee. It makes you wonder about the internet voting for cast members. You'll recall back a few seasons to when the internet-voted roomie from FL was having tons of problems getting along with his roommates. So for once, despite all the drama, fights and incidents that have gone down on the Real World, maybe the casting people get things right and the rest of us really have no clue who should be part of their cast...Then again, Aiiiyah stated in episode one she went on a massive campaign to get everyone she knew to vote for her including dogs.

MTV's Real World Cancun, Parties On...

(MTV's Real World Cancun Cast) It's time for the new MTV roomies to start getting real! Real World Cancun officially kicked off Wednesday night with a cast of 8 roommates sent to Mexico. The 8th member was selected via an internet voting contest and joins in on the fun. Her name is Ayiiia and she speaks Spanish. Should come in handy, unless they decide to kick her out for not being selected the old fashioned way... Episode 1 was as unreal as it could get. The roommates all arrived to a traditional Mexican outdoor restaurant table to share some food and fun while getting to know each other. Two of the roommates already know each other as they both work together at a bar in Arizona...Isn't that against Real World Rules? No friends allowed! Anyhow the mealtime conversation included some great icebreakers such as "Ok so who's the gay person here?"...and- "I'm 25% black" and "I have anxiety and ADHD", "I'm bi-polar", "Cool, I'm a sociopath".. "Oh really shut up! me too!" It's good to get everything out in the open early on... (Ayiiia, Jasmine, Emilee and Jonna) And now for our cast members so far.... Jasmine Reynaud is a petite yet outspoken and energetic Texas girl. She and Ayiiia Elizarraras, the internet cast member, snuck into their male roommate's room during Ep 1 to observe him having sex. Derek Chavez and Jonna Mannion are the two friends from Arizona. Derek's the sole gay cast member (although the females never stay completely straight). Jonna is the one who has a promise piercing through her finger to show her commitment to her boyfriend back home. Yet all the males in the house are taking bets on if it'll work out... Bronne Bruzgo (like the paper towels) is a dude from PA who formerly worked in the art department as a nude model. He seems to be the fun-loving jokester of the bunch. Joke was on him in the first show as he hooked up with Sharon Osborne's twin in a night club. Turns out it was the mother of a girl another castmate was hooking up with just a few feet away. Emilee Fitzpatrick is a young 20 year old brunette girl from Boston, Massachusetts, who also used to work at Hooters. She gets offended in the first episode when someone challenges her notions of why old men hangout at Hooters. Christian "CJ" Koegel is the blond hunk hearthrob guy that most of the girls have already admitted an attraction to. He's got a girl back home who's planning a visit, but he has to confess he had a snuggle night with Emilee. The girlfriend becomes upset at him for not choosing a couch over his female roomie's bed. A few emails back and forth, and CJ's a free man for Cancun... (Bronne, Joey, Derek, CJ) The outrageous rock-star, Joey Rozmus, seems to be MTV's casting attempt at finding another "Puck" (Real World San Diego). Complete with tattoos and piercings coupled with the speak his mind say whatever attitude, this guy's gonna cause some friction. In his brief time in Cancun he's already made a bet for 500 pesos that the only girl in the house who's not single will break her boyfriend's heart. On Episode 1 we discover that he gets drunk easily, as he's the first casualty on the roommates' first night out. He's also the first roomie to score, as he brings back a cool chick from the club.. And yes, he even bought a braided mannequin head from a random lady on the beach for all the money in his wallet. Expect spitting and snot rockets to follow in future episodes...(In fact this preview clip tells it all) And if all the cast member drama won't be enough, the new kids in Cancun will be providing Spring Break tours and fun for college party animals....Looks like another volatile, wild and crazy season in the making here...Can you see it now? So Who Won the Duel 2?

Rachel Robinson schemes way into RW/RR Duel 2 Finals Who won the Duel 2? That's the question on many minds today as the finale aired last night. In case you missed who won the Duel 2 on MTV, here's your recap...The Real World/Road Rules Challenge Duel 2's season finale aired on MTV last night (6/10/09) and featured a continuation from the week before. Lovebirds Brad and Tori were on the chopping block as both were sent into the duel. Tori faced Aneesa in the Elevator Game, while Brad took on MJ in Pole Dancing. Both were heated battles, with Tori and Aneesa pulling their chains rapidly, but in the end it was Aneesa who pulled Tori to the top first, sending her home, and away from Brad. Feeding up his love and raw emotions, Brad went into Pole Dancing, survived MJ trying to pull him off, and even pushed MJ off to finally climb to the top and win it. Goodbye MJ, you can now return to your wife and kids... Here's where it gets real good. We're down to Brad, Landon, Evan and Mark for the guys, Rachel Robinson, Brittni, Aneesa Ferreria and Diem for the girls. TJ Lavin tells the remaining contestants "See you soon", and then makes a house visit to the total of 8 guys and girls left. He informs them that there's only 3 girls and 3 guys in the finals, so that means they will have yet another duel to send someone of each sex home. The catch is the groups of 4 must choose someone to send into elimination. That person gets to choose their opponent. Landon who was the top competitor all season, winning most challenges volunteers to go get some paper so the 4 guys can cast votes. When he leaves the remaining 3 guys say ok let's vote Landon. Landon's sent into the duel and he immediately warns Brand he'll be choosing him. The girls are less political as Aneesa, Brittni and Rachel all elect Diem. Diem decides to make them all mull over who she will choose that night, by refusing to say who she's bringing into the Duel. The next day the Duel arrives, it's "Duel or Die". Landon and Brand are going to be doing Back Off, where they must pull a ring off their opponent's back, then run over and hook it onto a hanging ring. It's highly intense, and Landon thinks the object is to keep tackling your opponent. He slams Brad to the ground wrestling style, and TJ tells him that's not the rules, as Brad rushed over to latch his ring on. It's 1-0 Brad. The second one, Landon now knows the rules and uses his size to overpower and beat Brad. 1-1, now it's down to the last one. Both men get their opponent's ring, however Brad is slammed into the wall and Landon's right near his hanging ring. Brad gets up and hit the hanging ring into the air, then runs for his own. Landon has trouble latching his ring on, and Brad hooks his to win an amazing duel! Now it's the girls' turn, and Diem has notified Aneesa and Rachel it's not you, then calls in Brittni. The girls are playing "Pushover" and Diem wants to show she's not one. As they rush at each other American Gladiators style, Diem gets down low and knocks her taller opponent off balance, and off the platform. 1-0 Diem. Unfortunately, rounds 2 and 3 weren't so kind to D, as Brittni displayed her pure aggression and athletic talent to send Diem home. After a teary goodbye, we're ready for the Final challenge. The Final challenge for Duel 2 involved a marathon style race which had 5 different puzzles along the way corresponding to duels. There was a race through water to get to land and then the contestants had to assemble a puzzle like in "Spot on". From there they had to rush to a huge pole, climb the pole and unchain a bicycle for their next leg of the marathon. The contestants had to bike on a grueling mountain uphill. Our leaders were Brad and Rachel, with Evan and Brittni not far behind. Brad and Rachel arrive to the first "partner" challenge, where they have to hook themselves together by a large ring (like in Back off) and then race to the next challenge. Next they must push a heavy box full of dirt and sand to get to a key to unchain themselves. At this stage, Evan and Brittni are gaining some ground, or at least Evan is. His strength helps them in the push over challenge. Meanwhile, Aneesa and Mark are lagging way behind. The contestants are now partner-free, and Rachel is sprinting to the final challenge. Brad is walking because his leg's been cramping up, he wants to avoid serious injury. Meanwhile Evan tries to gain ground and is running for it. Rachel is the first to the final challenge, an Elevator style game where they must pull themselves to the top, grab a flag/card and then lower back down. Rachel does it, and rushes to TJ Lavin at the finish. Brad and Evan are now neck and neck in Elevator game, and lower themselves about the same time. Evan bolts out of the contraption and they sprint for the finish. Evan beats Brad by mere seconds to win the $100,000! Aneesa and Mark are still going, and want to finish it out. Mark, being a gentleman helps Aneesa to finish, rather than leaving her behind. So here's your finishers and their prizes: 1st place - Rachel Robinson & Evan Starkman - $100,000 2nd place - Brittni Sherrod & Brad Fiorenza - $35,000 3rd place - Aneesa Ferreira & Mark Long - $15,000 Not to shabby as all finalists took home some G's. These shows are always intense, full of drama and excitement. It's still a happy ending for Brad and Tori who will take home some money for their impending wedding. And now you know just who won the Duel 2.

Eminem Bruno Stunt Insider info

According to multiple sources including NME.com, the whole Eminem getting teabagged by Bruno stunt at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards was staged. MTV's head writer Scott Aukerman cleared up gossip that said Eminem wasn't aware of the prank which saw him leave the audience angrily at the awards show. From NME.com, Aukerman posted the following on his Tumblr account before later removing it: "Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged," he wrote. "That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then." In the incident which went down this past Sunday at MTV"s Movie Awards, actor/comedian Sacha Baron Cohen came flying into the venue above the audience, dressed as his new movie character, Bruno, in little more than some white feathery wings and a jock strap. At one point he became tangled up in his harness and wiring and asked to be lowered down, right into Eminem's lap. Eminem wound up with Bruno's ass in his face and was none too pleased, so it appeared. Speculation had made it seem that Eminem was Punk'd by Sacha Baron Cohen, when in fact some say Eminem was mic'd up. The rapper appeared to get quite upset by the incident, ordering his crew to "get this M--------a off me" before storming out of the audience.

MTV Movie Awards: Eminem meets Bruno!

(Eminem with Crack a Bruno?) Rapper-Comedian Stunt: Eminem leaves Mtv Movie awards! The 2009 MTV movie awards hosted by Andy Samberg definitely was entertaining this year. Host Samberg had some great bits including a digital short music video "Cool Guys Don't Look at Explosions (video/lyrics)" which also featured a cameo from SNL alum Will Ferrell as Neil Diamond. His intro was a montage of Samberg in various films such as "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Twilight". Another segment featured the likes of Leanne Rhimes, Chris Isaak and Forrest Whittaker performing various songs Samberg made famous. Presenters included the likes of Vanessa Hudgens, Jonah Hill, Sandra Bullock, Will Ferrell, Anna Farris and yes even Denzel Washington. Ben Stiller was presented an achievement award by Zac Effron, Kiefer Sutherland and Triumph the insult comic dog. A musical medley performance was given by rapper Eminem, who did his recent hits "Crack a Bottle" and "We Made You" on stage. Later in the show, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, dressed as the follow up character to Borat named Bruno made his crazy entrance from the ceiling as a white angel, wearing a jock strap with large wings, hanging from the ceiling. As he swooped over the audience he "accidentally" became tangled in his cables and harness and was lowered down into the audience, perfectly on top of Eminem. Eminem seemed less than enthused with the character's ass in his face and began letting out expletives to his entourage to "get this m-----a off me". After his crew had pushed Bruno around and off Em, the rapper got up and seemed to storm out of the audience saying "this is stupid. As always anything involving the guy who plays Borat (Sasha Baron Cohen) and Slim Shady is going to get crazy. Check out the clip below of Eminem teabagged by Bruno! Twilight was the big winner of the night picking up the majority of the awards including Best Movie (voted on by MTV viewers), beating out High School Musical 3, the Dark Knight and Slumdog Millionaire. In another crazy unplanned moment Twilight actress Kristen Stewart drops her award as she nervously made it through her acceptance speech. Stewart and her co-star, rumored off-screen love interest Robert Pattinson also won the award for "Best Kiss" then teased the audience with a near kiss on stage. Sneak peak clips & trailers were also shown for both "Transformers 2" and the sequel to Twilight, New Moon. All in all this was probably one of the more entertaining MTV Movie Awards in recent times. If you get the opportunity, make sure to TIVO, DVR or tape it (if people still use tapes).

Real World Shauvon Sparks RWRR Duel?

(Real World babe Shauvon Torres) Leave it to the good folks at MTV to put together an ensemble cast for their latest celeb-reality game show "Real World Road Rules The Duel II". The show which features daily/weekly challenges set in New Zealand includes a cast of characters ready to get rowdy and raucous. Let the games begin.... Included of course is the hot-headed nuclear bomb from Massachusetts known as CT (real name: Chris Tamburello) who first appeared on Real World Paris. He's been on many of these reality game shows in the past but seems to end up punching someone in the first few episodes which leads to him quickly being disqualified. On the premiere episode of "Real World Road Rules: The Duel II" Wednesday night, the controversy all started over busty blond, Shauvon Torres, who is from Real World's Sydney, Australia cast. Apparently, CT had Real World Shauvon naked (or close to it) and the two engaged in some sort of romp together which created loud moaning sound effects for the other girls to overhear. One thing led to another and it was rumored that Real World Shauvon had sex with Real World CT. Tsk, Tsk. Add in the fact that there was a birthday costume party celebration going on with the alcohol flowing, and the good times ensued. After the sexcapade between CT and Shauvon, cast members got to gossiping, wth CT's ex-girlfriend Diem out of the loop. Eventually she got word of things from that loyal friend, Katie, and Diem went to confront CT over his alleged hookup. From there CT was his usual charming self telling Diem their relationship was meaningless to him right now and her feelings mattered little. Despite that, CT decided to leave their chat and go hunt down Adam. Coincidentally, he'd seen Adam and Diem talking earlier and felt Adam snitched on him for the hookup that never happened. Tale of the tape: CT 240 lbs vs. Adam 155 lbs. Adam ended up on the received end of a CT punch that would have probably broken many people's faces in half. Adam got in a sucker punch during the melee. CT busted through a door, other drunken cast members scrambled to hold the two back. In the aftermath, CT & Adam were booted for their physical confrontation. Diem was shown in video interviews crying as if she could control the monster named CT who becomes an angry, rage-driven Hulk character when he snaps. You have to question Diem for going back to CT repeatedly as if he's a sweetheart when there's plenty of evidence on the MTV tapes to the contrary. During the RWRR: Duel II After Show party, CT mentioned that he had a lot on his mind that all exploded in him at once causing him to lash out. He revealed he had recently lost his brother who was shot while in a fight, and had that on his mind along with the break up between he and Diem. Apparently CT was unhappy when Diem told him her career came first, he took exception and was hurt. Diem and CT both claimed they've moved on yet shared some heated words on stage. Adam was unable to put the feud he and CT have to rest since he was on the losing end of the fight. Drama is always a key ingredient for these volatile MTV reality shows, and you can either thank or berate the people who cast for these Real World shows. They've seen CT get physical and angry before with other cast members, resulting in his kickoff from the show. At one point he shouted to fellow castmates "I wanna smash his head and eat it". Lessons learned: If CT beats someone down once, shame on CT. If CT comes back again and again to beat others down, shame on MTV.

Devyn Simone - Real World Brooklyn Reunion

If you caught the Real World Brooklyn Reunion but haven't watched the latest season of the hit MTV reality show, you were introduced to the beautiful Devyn Simone. As of Thursday AM, Devyn Simone was the hottest search trend on Google, most likely with her newest fans searching for "what is Devyn Simone's phone number" or email address, or measurements. The sexy 21 year old Devyn appeared along with her former roommates Baya Voce, Chet, JD, Katelynn, Sarah, Ryan and Scott on the Brooklyn reunion show Wednesday night. As with other former guests of the Real World house, Devyn seems to have parlayed her appearance into further superstardom. On Devyn's Myspace page you can see various photos of her modeling as well as doing TV hosting gigs and appearing in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The sexy Simone was a star before even joining the reality show's cast, as she was crowned Miss Missouri Teen 2005. Devyn who is originally from Kansas City, Missouri was working in New York as a public relations director for a fashion label called Jovani. This was going on just before the season premiere. According to the final episode of the show, Devyn was going to room with her fellow castmates Scott and Baya Voce in NYC. According to an interview Simone did earlier this year, she never finished college but instead has immersed herself in her career instead. As "The Pitch" puts it, it's like Devyn Simone was "drafted into the entertainment world". The Pitch: It's like you got drafted, but into the entertainment world. DS: Yeah! That's a good way to put it. It's like I got drafted. Who would turn that down? The pros say they want you, you're not going to be like, eh, let me finish. I told my parents that hopefully I won't have to. I mean, I think it's really important and I'd love to have a degree at some point, but just, in my nature, I'd so much rather be in my art than studying it. If you've got a spot, you better get in it and keep going. Now that the Brooklyn Real World Reunion has come and gone, Devyn can officially get her career in full gear. If worst comes to worst she can always choose the career path of former Real World star, Mike Mizanin who now works as a top star with the WWE/ECW as a pro wrestler. TI's Road to Redemption Gets Real

Rapper TI's MTV reality show "Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go" is set to debut next week with a 1 hour episode on February 10th at 9PM EST. It won't feature 7 strangers picked to live in a cell block, but instead will feature a look at TI doing community service hours while trying to be a role model and reduce his prison sentence. The new MTV series arises from TI's criminal charges for gun possession back in 2007. His lawyers negotiated a reduced sentence conditional upon TI completing 1,000 hours of community service by the end of March 2009. The reality show will have TI attempting to do his community service while teaching youngsters not to head down a similar path as he has. According to one of MTV's executives behind the show: "MTV has always given artists a platform to get their stories and music out to their fans and this series reveals the unknown side of T.I. -- one of the world's greatest artists at the most precarious time in his life," said Tony DiSanto, Executive Vice President, Series Development and Programming. "In the face of impending incarceration, T.I. is driven to ensure others do not make the same mistakes, and our cameras document every step along this road as he impacts and changes lives for the better. It is real-time redemption." (source: tv.ign.com) Every Tuesday there will be another half hour installment of the series airing at 9:30PM EST. The grand finale comes on March 31st, when everyone learns if TI has completed his necessary 1,000 hours of community service or not. It definitely has the feel of one of those reality TV shows where someone wins a big cash prize, only in this instance the prize is TI's personal freedom. 50 Hates on Kanye 808's?

You won't find the traditional Ye when you download or go buy his new album 808s & Heartbreak next week. Instead, Kanye will be crooning his way through song after song, going the way of several other rap artists such as Outkast, Lauryn Hill and Cee-Lo of Goodie Mob. Outkast enjoyed Grammy album of the year success with their half sung album Speakerboxxx/Love Below, as did Lauryn Hill, while Cee-Lo went on to record a smash hit record St. Elsewhere with DJ Dangermouse. For his fourth release, Kanye will be leaving alot of the rapping at home, and focuses on singing from his heart, letting people know in advance he's no Luther Vandross. Instead, Kanye will sing T-Pain style with a variety of songs covering everything from his mother's death to his breakup with fiancee Alexis Phifer. According to rapper Young Jeezy, the Kanye song Robocop is destined to be a huge hit. MTV even evoked a surprise response when asking Ye who his major competition is now. Always ready to speak up, 50 Cent decided to chime in to make himself still relevant while Kanye prepares to unveil his new work. 50 made the following comments on the Total Finale Live on MTV this past Sunday night. "I heard, like, seven songs," 50 said of the album, which features Kanye singing more than on his past albums. "There's a place for it. I think people will enjoy it if you're actually in love or going through something. I think Kanye's going through an interesting point in his career." West worked extensively with T-Pain on the album, and 50 had some pointed comments about Pain's contributions. "I don't think the public will forgive [Kanye] for it, but it's interesting. I think it's T-Pain's record, but I'd rather buy it from T-Pain." It's a far cry from their fake beef over who would outsell who with albums, and goes to show that possibly 50 isn't a fan of creative artistic expression. But hey everyone's got an opinion...While he was at it, 50 decided to throw some comments in the way of Super Rich businessman Donald Trump, calling the Donald "crazy" for claiming 50's reality show was a knockoff of The Apprentice. A brand new Justin Timberlake single has been debuted on Myspace Music called "Follow my Lead". The uptempo new single is released in an effort to raise funds for the Shriners Hospital for Children. The official announcement on JT's Myspace blog: MySpace has joined forces with Justin to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children by offering the exclusive song "Follow My Lead" as a download. MySpace Music allows users to buy the exclusive live song recorded at his recent concert, "Justin Timberlake and Friends, a Special Evening Benefiting the Shriners Hospitals for Children." Beginning November 18th, users can purchase the song featuring Tennman Records' recording artist, Esmée Denters, as well as watch video footage and interviews from the concert.
