Beasties cancel Concerts, Push Back Hot Sauce Album
Unfortunate news has recently come in from the Beastie Boys camp. The group has decided to cancel several of their upcoming concerts and push back their album release for "The Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1" as well. This news comes due to Adam "MCA" Yauch's discovery that he has a small lump on the side of his throat which is a form of cancer. Yauch will require surgery next week for the removal of the problem, and then radiation treatment. Adam "MCA" Yauch and AdRock talk about it in the video below, assuring fans the problem is not in a place that will affect his voice, and it's very localized so it shouldn't cause more problems. He adds that in most cases they are able to completely eliminate the issue. The Beasties issue a full apology to any fans who were excited for the upcoming shows as well... Wishing MCA an uncomplicated surgery as well as a speedy recovery from this unfortunate health situation... Labels: Albums, Beastie Boys, Concerts/Shows, News, Rap Albums, Rappers |
