P Diddy the Hollywood Star

Hip hop producer, rapper, and businessman, Sean "P Diddy" Combs is officially a Hollywood star. The Grammy-winning Combs was presented with the 2,362nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was proud of his latest accomplisment, which he dedicated to his father, Melvin, who had been shot dead in 1972. Diddy is also the first male rapper to receive a Hollywood star. Australia's Herald Sun had the following report. The Grammy-winning rapper/producer was on hand for the unveiling of the 2362nd star to be laid on Hollywood Blvd, paying an emotional tribute to his parents at a ceremony attended by hundreds of well-wishers. "Today is one of the best days of my life," Combs, 38, said as fans shouted, "We love you, Diddy." "Today is proof if you believe, all your dreams can come true," the rapper said. Just to reinforce the fact, Diddy is planning what's called an "I'm Famous" party to honor his latest achievement. The party will cost $2 million and have $400 goodie packs for all guests.
