Vegas' Most Wanted - Mos Def Arrest Warrants
A strange recent phenomenon is occurring with rappers and paparazi. Back in September, Kanye West was displayed on video attacking a cameraman and busting up his camera equipment at Los Angeles International Airport. The incident resulted in charges against Ye for damage related to vandalism (charges were dropped by LA's DA). Now it seems another rap star, Mos Def has been cited in arrest warrants by Las Vegas Police. According to MTV.com: Police claim Mos was involved in an altercation with a photographer during a fashion event in Sin City. Volker Corell — an official photographer for the Men's Apparel and Garment Industry Convention (MAGIC) — says the rapper got irritated with him while he was taking photos of attendees at the event. Def allegedly ripped Corell's camera from his neck and threw it against the ground, smashing it. The photographer said Def ran off, with the busted equipment in hand, soon after the scrap. Mos is currently working on his next album called "The Ecstatic", due out February 9th, with the first single "Life in Marvelous Times" released this past week. He'll also have movie roles in Cadillac Records with Beyonce, Next Day Air, and Mama Black Widow with Rihanna. See more about Mos Def arrest warrants at MTV.com.
