Rihanna Almost Naked for 'All of the Lights' Video by Kanye West

The new Kanye West music video has arrived for his latest track, "All of the Lights." Many hip hop and music fans will be pleased to see a nearly naked Rihanna. That's right, this is Rihanna's almost nude video debut (leaked sex tapes aside).

This song, from West's album, was featured prominently almost like the official theme song of NBA All-Star Weekend 2011, and it seems to fit. Not only that, but Rihanna, who is featured on the song and in the video rocked the Halftime show in Los Angeles this weekend. After several songs, Drake showed up to help her on "What's My Name?" followed by Kanye West appearing on stage to do "All of the Lights."

The video, seen via YouTube below, was done by Hype Williams and features you guessed it, "All of the Lights," including West rocking up on a police car. Still the best lights seem to be the ones behind RiRi as she sings "want you to see everything." In a revealing black outfit, we almost do!

Check out the Kanye West video below with almost naked Rihanna, Kanye West and others featured in the chorus (Kid Cudi, Charlie Wilson, etc).

Kanye West's Unfinished 'Monster' Music Video Leaks Online

The new Kanye West 'Monster' video leak has the internet talking. This appears to be one unique, gory, controversial and intriguing new video on the way from West, Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj. The unfinished new video of the collaborative joint from West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" is seen below. It's definitely dark and twisted, and as Kanye says in the song "I cross the line, but I let God decide."

Two more videos below. The behind the scenes YouTube video below shows the filming of Rick Ross' scenes from the video. Apparently Ross plays the part of some sort of Hannibal Lecter eating a bloody meal with a female layed out on the dinner table. There's also a 40 second sneak preview video which has been making the rounds on YouTube. West probably isn't happy to see these leaks and may be severing some heads for real soon.

Other scenes have been described to show Kanye West holding a severed head and making out with a dead chick. Jay-Z is shown in a full suit rapping in front of a dead girl's body on the couch. Nicki Minaj will apparently be rapping to another version of herself strapped to an executioner's chair. While this video probably would've been best for Halloween 2010, obviously the Kanye West album came out weeks after that.

Enjoy the sneak peak and video footage below, as this looks like it will be an epic music video from Kanye and crew!

Forbes Unveils Hip-Hop Cash Kings 2010 Edition

Jay-Z has topped the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list for 2010. The rap star earned $63 million in 2010. The second place entrant, Sean "Diddy" Combs earned less than half Jigga's amount with just $30 million.

Just $30 million right? It's being reported that stability was key in 2010 because the economy's effected everyone, even rappers. However, these guys are still pulling in serious bank.

# 1.Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter
$63 Million
# 2.Sean "Diddy" Combs
$30 million
# 3.Aliuane "Akon" Thiam
$21 million
# 4.Dwayne "Lil Wayne" Carter
$20 million
# 5.Andre "Dr. Dre" Young
$17 million
# 6.Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges
$16 million
# 7.Calvin "Snoop Dogg" Broadus
$15 million
# 8.Timothy "Timbaland" Mosley
$14 million
# 9.Pharrell Williams
$13 million
# 10.Kanye West
$12 million

Kanye West and 50 Cent are reportedly amongst the biggest droppers in terms of earnings. West dropped from $25 mill down to $12m, while 50 has gone from $20 million down to a measly $8 million due to less success in the past year.

One of the year's biggest success stories so far is Drake who made his debut appearance on the list at the #11 spot with $10 mill. Drake's not only got the hit album, but deals with Sprite and Virgin Airlines, plus that whole acting thing. And then there's Lil' Wayne, who was able to go up in his earnings by about $2mill despite the fact he's currently doing time. Maybe jail time really does help rap careers.

Kanye West will give 2010 MTV VMA's Performance

Kanye West takes the microphone from best female video winner Taylor Swift as he praises the video entry from Beyonce at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in New York, in this September 13, 2009 file photo. West is painting a new picture on MTV on Thursday, debuting a video he hopes will offer fans a better image of himself than the one he made at the network's award show last year. (Kanye - "I'mma let you finish")

Have the MTV viewers forgave and forgotten Kanye West? According to the latest reports, rap star Kanye West will be a performer at this year's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA's). The rapper is infamous for his on-stage interruption when Taylor Swift was winning her first ever VMA at the show in 2009. The incident brought a lot of negative criticism towards Kanye and rightfully so.

Now it appears Kanye's back with new perspective. He apologized multiple times to Swift and publicly, but are fans ready to re-embrace the rapper? He appeared as part of the 2010 remake of "We are the World", and kept a low profile otherwise. Kanye had a few guest spots and production offerings to the likes of Rick Ross and Drake among others. It left fans wondering what was next for Kanye in terms of his own solo career.

Have no fear, weeks ago Mr. West re-emerged with a new song, but it offered no apologies. Kanye's latest hit single is "Power" an ego-driven rap which will come from his next solo album "Good Ass Job". Recently, he debuted another song featuring Beyonce from the album due out in November. Kanye's already performed for the BET Awards, but really needs to do a "Good Ass Job" on stage at this year's VMA's in order to sell music lovers on his act once again. The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards air live on Sunday, September 12 at 9PM ET.

Will you be watching as Kanye West takes the stage at the VMA's, or changing the channel?

Taylor Swift on The View, Kanye Apology #4

According to recent reports from USMagazine.com, rapper singer Taylor Swift was contacted by Kanye West via telephone following her Tuesday appearance on ABC's The View. Swift reported she accepted the apology and in the future she'd be fine around the rapper/producer.

"Kanye did call me. He was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology," Swift told ABC News Radio. Asked if in the future, everything would be fine between the two, she replied, "Yeah, definitely."

In the YouTube clip below, Swift makes her appearance on ABC's The View to discuss her emotional ride at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, which included riding the NY Subway for her performance of "You Belong to Me", just moments after the whole Kanye West incident went down.

This marks apology #4 from Kanye West, but the first that was made directly while in contact with Swift. His previous 3 included two blog entries (one in ALL CAPS) and an appearance on The Jay Leno Show Monday night. Taylor's definitely getting a ton of publicity out of this, not that she asked for it, but to think a musician minds when more people are googling her and learning about her music, would be preposterous.

Kid Cudi Man on the Moon Album Review

Kid Cudi's a relatively new rapper on the scene out of Cleveland, Ohio. Parte Lupe Fiasco, part Pharrell/Kanye West, part Cee-Lo, with his sing songy nature he's a unique entry into hip hop these days. He made it bigtime when his song "Day N' Nite" blew up on radio, and he guest appeared on Kanye West's "808's and Heartbreak" album. Momentum started to build for the rapper as he released a mixtape in traditional fashion, and the anticipation grew for his first solo album, "Man On The Moon End of Day". His follow-up single "Make Her Say" featured Kanye West & Common, and sampled Lady Gaga's "Poker Face". The result was another hit for Cudi on the charts. What sets Cudi apart from other rappers looking to make it big is his sing-songy style which also seems to appeal to fans of Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West and even throwback pioneers such as Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Del tha Funkee Homosapien and Jungle Brothers.

Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon album dropped just today Tuesday September 15th, 2009 and after listening to it multiple times over the past weeks, it's well worth the purchase and listen. Cudi takes the listener on a vivid, eery, gloomy and even upbeat journey through his mind and soul. Kid Cudi's Soundtrack to My Life lyrics opens with the rapper spitting: "I've got 99 problems, and they all bitches..Wish I was Jigga man, carefree livin'" and sets the tone for his album from there, discussing the pitfalls, words of encouragement, dark thoughts, blunted mentality, and "whatever man" attitude that he needs to survive in life as well as the rap fame game. At some points Cudi's release is part depressing nightmare over mellow backdrops; at others it's got a more uptempo, inspirational feel, taking you on a roller coaster journey through the rapper's mind. Cudi lets loose over the futuristic synth funkadelic beat on "Cudi Zone" with rapid fire rhyming skills to showcase he's more than just "sing songy". "Sky Might Fall" and "Heart of a Lion" both show the positive, inspired side of the rapper, while the final track is his ode to lighting up and going "Up, Up and Away" from all haters or critics. What Cudi does well on this first album is create a colorful mindscape of lyrics and beats which listeners can relate to all over. While he's not the top emcee in the game or looking to win that award right now, he's got the gift of introspection other rappers seem to lack.

15 tracks deep, there's no skits other than Common narrating at the end of tracks to bring you through the mindscape of Cudi. Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon is easily one of the top 3 hip-hop releases of 2009, along with Mos Def & Raekwon's latest works. Cudi doesn't let himself be overshadowed by guest stars, as Kanye and Common are the big names, while he brings some other newer rappers on board for a few tracks. The album is well worth the download or record store purchase. Pick it up, buckle up, and enjoy the wild ride through the variety of sing-songy, emotion-laden tracks of an emerging rap star's mind.

Kanye West on Jay Leno Show

kanye west on jay leno show video
(Leno interviews West re: Swiftgate incident)

NBC's Jay Leno couldn't have asked for a more perfectly-timed guest for his new show as he kicked off his new primetime series. On Monday night controversial rap star Kanye West was on the Jay Leno Show, just one night after West interrupted Taylor Swift on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards. The interview was a last minute thing, as West was there to perform with Jay-Z and Rihanna for the Blueprint 3 hit song "Run this Town". Jay Leno didn't have too many laughs during the interview, but earlier in the night joked that maybe President Obama would invite West and Swift to have a "root beer summit" with him and patch things up. Speaking of the pres, Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" in an off the record talk during an interview, when asked about the incident.

As for Kanye, the rapper noted that he wants to take time off to reflect on his life and figure out how to improve. He apologized again, after issuing an apology earlier on his blog.

"So many celebrities, they never take the time off," he said. "I've never taken the time off to really -- you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, 'cause, and I don't try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That's period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve."

The emotional moment of the Leno interview came when Jay asked Kanye what his mother would think about what he did at the VMA's. West paused for several moments and eventually agreed with Leno that she'd probably give him a lecture for what he did.

Check out footage of the Kanye West Jay Leno interview below:

Meanwhile, it appears that female pop stars continue to rally in support of Taylor Swift and to denounce Kanye. The latest to jump on the bandwagon, Kelly Clarkson, who said she likes her "a--hole cheating ex more than Kanye" according to the Huffington Post. This comes after singers Pink and Katy Perry posted not so nice comments towards West on their Twitter pages.

Lil' Mama issues MTV VMA Apology

Now both of last night's troublemakers from the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards have made public apologies for their meddlesome activities. Kanye West blogged his and Lil Mama released a statement of her own, about her reasons for jumping on stage at the end of Jay-Z & Alicia Key's "Empire State of Mind" performance.

From EW:

Lil Mama has issued a statement to explain why she ran on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. “I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,” the rapper/America’s Best Dance Crew judge says. “I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up on stage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.”

Fans continue to be irate over her actions saying that other rap stars who rep New York were in the audience but chose to stay in their seats. Beyonce had more right to be on stage than Lil' Mama, the former Lip Gloss queen, but as we all know B has what Lil' Mama and Kanye West lack: class.

Unfortunately it seems as if the MTV VMA's have turned into more of a high school talent show, in terms of the way attendees get involved. In these instances though, there's no strict principal to grab the rowdy individual by their neck and yank them off stage. Kanye West & Lil Mama probably aided the MTV awards by making some noise and generating buzz, but neither did anything worthy of an award, and both need to learn to stay in their seats when attending a show. That is unless, they'd allow fans to randomly run up on stage and hang with them during performances. Well, only Kanye needs to worry about that one...

Kanye West Blog Apology to Taylor Swift

kanye west vmas 2009 mtv

After last night's MTV Music awards 2009 Kanye West Taylor Swift incident, the rapper issued an apology to Taylor Swift, her fans and mother. Since there's no official Kanye West Twitter page (Ye hates the site), he used the next best thing, his blog.

From Kanye's blog:

"I'm so sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment! Beyonce's video was the best of this decade!!! I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!! I'm sorry to my friends at MTV.

I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw (tomorrow). Welcome to the real world!!! Everybody wanna boo me but I'm a fan of real pop culture! No disrespect but we watchin' (watching) the show at the crib right now cause...well you know!!! I'm still happy for Taylor!!! Booyaa. You are very very talented. I gave my award to Outkast when they deserved it over me. That's what it is! I'm not crazy yall (y'all), I'm just real. Sorry for that! I really feel bad for Taylor and I'm sincerely sorry!!! Much respect!!!"

The stage-rushing incident came early on in the show, moments after Madonna had made a speech remembering Michael Jackson, and then a tribute performance was done on stage with Jackson dancers, and the late singer's sister arriving out to perform "Scream".

Taylor Swift had just won the Best Female video VMA and while she was on stage with her moon man award statue, West interrupted, yanking the mic from her hands to proclaim Beyonce's "Single Ladies" as one of the best videos of all time. After West left the stage, Swift stood in silence stunned. She began her speech but the MTV people chose to start showing a video skit on the big screen featuring Tracy Morgan, which cut her off.

Later in the show, Beyonce won Video of the Year, and in a moment of true grace, she invited Swift back on stage to have her award-winning moment. Many are now praising Beyonce for her move, while Kanye continues to get the not so friendly treatment. Fans and celebs alike were buzzing and downright mad about Kanye's interference, as singers Pink and Katy Perry sounded off on Twitter. It's unlikely we'll see any Pink, Borat, or Katy Perry collaborations with West anytime soon. Now will Lil' Mama please make a public apology to Jay-Z & Alicia Keys for jumping on stage to pose with the duo?

Jay-Z & Alicia Keys at 2009 MTV VMA's

(Lil' Mama on stage with Jay-Z, Alicia w/ the WTF?)

Whether Jay-Z was fashionably late or it was just part of the show, the rapper closed out the strange, controversial and interesting 2009 MTV VMA's with a hardcore rap performance. Jay-Z took to the stage after MTV continually announced he was on his way to the venue several times. Possibly to build hype, or he really was late for the show. Still it was a spirited and boisterous performance by the duo of Jay's Blueprint 3 hit song "Empire State of Mind". Jay's wife Beyonce bootylicious self was shown dancing front row to the track.

Empire State of Mind Lyrics - Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys

Question: What was Lil' Mama doing up on stage at the end of Jay-Z's performance? Notice in the video and pic above, Alicia Keys is wondering what the hell she's doing there. I'm sure she got a talking to later on. The one-hit wonder of "Lip Gloss" fame showed up to pose next to Jay and Alicia Keys following their triumphant performance on stage. Many fans and reviewers of the show believe maybe Lil' Mama was high, but more likely she just wanted her 15 seconds of fame as she isn't relevant right now. Even with last night's stunt, she still was less talked about than Kanye West.

Kanye West's Swift VMA Entrance 2009

kanye west taylor swift mtv vmas 2009
(Kanye interrupts Swift's award moment, MTV VMA 2009)

Another year, another controversial MTV live awards show goes down in history. And yet another MTV VMA's where awards were given to recognize music videos rarely even seen on MTV. But as of September 13th and beyond, the internet will continue to buzz about the MTV VMA Awards show 2009 edition, including "What did Kanye West do?" and "Who is Russell Brand?"

It didn't take rapper Kanye West long at all to get himself in hot water at yet another MTV awards show. This time around, West wasn't even griping about himself losing an award. Instead, he rushed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift's award acceptance for Best Female video, and basically proclaimed that Beyonce had been robbed of the award. Beyonce had a stunned reaction in the crowd, and the audience eventually turned against Ye with boos. It was also reported that various celebs were not happy with Kanye, including Pink who gave him a disgusted look as she walked by.

All was not lost though, as Beyonce later won Video of the Year for "Single Ladies" and during her acceptance invited Taylor Swift back on stage to have her moment. Beyonce claimed she knew what it was like to win for the first time when she won with Destiny's Child a while back. Taylor graciously thanked all the fans, and her little brother's high school for allowing them to film the video.

The impressive opening moment of the show saw Madonna come out at the opening to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. Madonna recalled a story of when she tried to get to know the shy superstar. She also brought up how they grew apart, and how a "witch-hunt" began for Michael. Madonna talked of Jackson being unique and rare, but also a human being who we unfortunately had to lose to appreciate more. From there they launched into a tribute to Jackson, with classic videos playing on the big screen and dancers on stage recreating the moves while decked out in classic MJ costumes. The opening bit also saw a surprise performance from the late Michael's sister, Janet as she exploded out onto the stage to do her part from "Scream" while the black and white spaced out video played behind her. Jermaine and Joe Jackson were in the house to see the unveiling of concert footage from a Michael Jackson movie that will be released at a later date.

Still wondering who the host was? It was British actor Russell Brand of Forgetting Sarah Marshall fame who hosted the fast-paced show which lacked comedic punch. Wale performed with a house band in various segments to the side of the stage.

The post show seemed to lack anything special as they analyzed the "Tweets" from Twitter regarding the show. To make things even stranger, MTV correspondent and personality Sway tried to call his brother on his new LG phone to get his opinion of the show. Fortunately for Sway and MTV, it went to voice mail.

Regarding the Kanye stage crash, there were some unhappy Twitterers from the VMA's, including Katy Perry, Pink & Borat:

@PINK: "# Kanye west is the biggest piece of s--t on earth. Quote me.about 4 hours ago from UberTwitter "

"# My heart goes out to taylor swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her. about 4 hours ago from UberTwitter "

"Beyonce is a classy lady.I feel for her, too.Its not her fault at all, and her and taylor did their thing. And douche bag got kicked out. HA"

@Borat: "# I would like to skull f--k kanye west until his jaw breaks for what he did too taylor swift.about 3 hours ago from Power Twitter "

Katy Perry: "# F--K U KANYE. IT'S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN.about 3 hours ago from UberTwitter "

"# Vma's we're amaze sack but why every1 gotta go ruin the top & bottom of it all, Kan** 2 Lil M*** get OFF DA STAGE IT AIN'T YO TIME 2 SHINE! about 1 hour ago from UberTwitter "

Apparently, based on Katy Perry's tweet, Lil' Mama somehow snuck onto the stage and was present at the end of Jay-Z's performance of "Empire State of Mind" to pose with Alicia Keys & Jigga...What a show.

Hate Lyrics by Jay-Z feat. Kanye West

Welcome to the Hate lyrics by Jay-Z feat. Kanye West entry. Once again Jay-Z teams up with Roc alumni and protege, rapper/producer Kanye West. On this particular song from The Blueprint 3 the duo raps about the popular subject of haters backed by an interesting, slowed down but funky beat. Sounds a bit like something Kanye cooked up during his time recording his experimental autotune singing album 808's. Check the full lyrics for Jay-Z's Hate featuring Kanye West below.

Hate by Jay-Z feat. Kanye West Lyrics
From: The Blueprint 3

Haters, Haters, Haters
And I made myself so easy to love
yea yea

Kanye West:
How much they hate it, very
Kiss girls like Katie Perry
I am never Sprung but I springer Jerry
Don't try this at home, results may vary
King like T.I. but in the Chi, Larry

Jay-Z:
Hoover, Hova
Botha American gangstas,
you choose who's, colder
Rappers get nasty in the booth, but I'm gross
I can't even stomach myself, ulcer
Move in cuz I'm closer
Had girlies in girdles way more than they supposed Hosa Nosa
My hustle so Russell
I stretch work- yoga
You know I got it down dog,
Al Roker I used to knock pounds off
It ain't nothin for me to knock nouns off
with these emcees prayin for my downfall
They just haters
away with you I'm so player
I never be done I'm so rare

Kanye West:
We killin the game it aint fair
You motherf----s stay right there
Cuz we too high up in the air
We blastin' off just like a laser poon poon poon
Gimme back gimme room room room
DB9 like vroom vroom vroom
Yo Hov what we doin doin doin?

Jay-Z:
We ballin' b----s
Eatin' your food leavin' dishes
Why these N---s always talkin' lead talk Ye?
Why I never see em at the clear port Ye?
Why I always hear they at the airport
While I fly daily like I'm in the Air Force
Therefore please stop talkin' my ears off
Millionaire talk, you haters
You made at me cuz you're paper
Need to get his m----f---n weight up
Wait up, I ain't done,
Name one thing that I ain't done,
It hurts when you say that I ain't the one,
You haters, how do I gain your fa-vor?
I need to know, cuz I care,
I need you to love me, I swear,
Look he-re
See Ye is
Runnin the Chi like Gayle Sayers,
I'm runnin New York,
I got the mayor on my pager
You can't fade us, you haters
I need you stay the-re
I breathe you like airr-re

Where all my haters?
I love all my haters
Love all my haters
I love all my haters
Where all my haters
Haters----yea yea

Jay-Z Blueprint 3 Preview on MTV's The Leak

September 11th, comes 10 days early as MTV has a full album preview of the upcoming Jay-Z album "Blueprint 3" which features his hit tracks "DOA (Death of Autotune)", "Run this Town" and the newest song leaked on the net featuring Drake, "Off That". It seems on this album Jay-Z has gone for a more experimental and definitely crossover sound to appeal to a range of fans. On American Gangster it was straight Jay, just like back in the day. So this album might be closer to Kingdom Come than the original Blueprint.

Tracklist for Blueprint 3:

01. What We Talkin' About featuring Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun (4:03)
02. Thank You (4:09)
03. D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune) (4:15)
04. Run This Town featuring Rihanna and Kanye West (4:27)
05. Empire State of Mind featuring Alicia Keys (4:36)
06. Real as It Gets featuring Young Jeezy (4:12)
07. On to the Next One featuring Swizz Beatz (4:16)
08. Off That featuring Drake (4:06)
09. A Star Is Born featuring J. Cole (3:46)
10. Venus vs. Mars (3:10)
11. Already Home featuring Kid Cudi (4:29)
12. Haters featuring Kanye West (2:31)
13. Reminder (4:18)
14. So Ambitious featuring Pharell (4:12)
15. Young Forever featuring Mr. Hudson (4:11)

So far an early favorite is "Empire State of Mind" which praises Hov's homestate of NY. It features songstress Alicia Keys, and probably one of the best beats on the album so far featuring a funky piano in the back. Could easily see this one becoming a hot, chart topping single, if Hov chooses to unleash it. "Now you're in New York, these streets will make you feel brand new, big lights will inspire you...let's hear it for New York" Alicia sings in the boisterous and upbeat chorus. The final track featuring Mr. Hudson is yet another sample laced crossover style track with the "Forever Young" chorus you're likely to recognize. That may be a single, but who knows right now.

Enough about the album, judge for yourself based on the preview at MTV's The Leak.

Also, see Newsday's article discussing the upcoming NY benefit concert Jay is doing.

Forever Lyrics - Drake, Eminem, Kanye West & Lil Wayne

(Drake wants this forever mane...)

Get Drake's ringtones for your cell phone!

Just days ago the talented young rapper Drake's (Aubrey Graham) latest track "Forever" hit the internet. It's a hot one as it not only features Drake rapping and singing but also Kanye West, Lil' Wayne and Eminem all adding tremendous guest verses. It's almost like a "Swagger Like Us" part 2, just missing TI & Jay-Z. Here's the lyrics for Drake's "Forever" featuring Eminem, Kanye West & Lil' Wayne (the self-professed martian).

Forever Lyrics
by Drake feat. Kanye West,
Lil Wayne & Eminem

Chorus:
It may not mean nothin to yall
But understand nothin was done to me
So I don't plan at stoppin at all
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...)
I'm shuttin sh-t down in the mall
and tellin every girl she's the one for me
and I ain't even plannin to call,
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...ever mane...)

Verse 1 Drake:
Last name Ever, first name Greatest
Like a sprained ankle boy I ain't nuthin to play with
Started off local, but thanks to all the haters
I know G4 pilots on a first name basis
N----s say they faded off the brown- Nino
She insists she got more class- we know
Swimmin in the money come & find me- Nemo
If I was at the club you know I ball, chemo
Drop the mixtape that s--t sounded like an album
Who'da thought a countrywide tour would be the outcome
Labels want my name beside a X like Malcolm
Everybody got a deal I did it without one
Yea, N---a I'm about my bizness
Killin' all these rappers you would swear I had a hitlist
Everyone who doubted me is askin' for forgiveness
If you ain't been a part of it, at least you got to witness......b----s

Chorus:
It may not mean nothin to yall
But understand nothin was done to me
So I don't plan at stoppin at all
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...)
I'm shuttin sh-t down in the mall
and tellin every girl she's the one for me
and I ain't even plannin to call,
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...ever mane...)

Verse 2 Kanye West:
I used to have hood dreams, big thangs big chains
I stuck my d--k inside this life until that b---h came
and went hard all fall like the ball teams
Just so I could make it rain, all spring
Yall seen my story, my glory
I had raped the game young you could call it statutory
When a n---a blow up they gone build statues for me
Old money, Benjamin Button, what? nothin
Superbad chicks givin me McLovin
You would think I ran the world like Michelle's husband
You would think these n---s know me when they really doesn't
Like they was down with the old me, no you f----n wasn't
Uh, you such a f----n loser,
You ain't even go to class, Bueller
Trade the Grammy plaques just to have my granny back
Member she had that bad hip like a fanny pack?
Chasin' the stardom will turn you to a maniac,
All the way in Hollywood and I can't even act,
They pull they cameras out and godd--n he snaps,
I used to want this thing forever, yall can have it back..

Chorus:
It may not mean nothin to yall
But understand nothin was done to me
So I don't plan at stoppin at all
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...)
I'm shuttin' sh-t down at the mall
and tellin' every girl she's the one for me
and I ain't even plannin to call,
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...ever mane...)

Verse 3 Lil' Wayne:

Ok, Hello its the Martian
Space Jam Gardens
I wrote this s--t forever
Wake up and smell the garden,
Fresher than the harvest, step up to the target,
If I had one guess, then I guess I'm just New Orleans,
and I would never stop, like I'm runnin from the cops
Hopped up in my car and told my chaffeur "to the top"
Life is such a f----n roller coaster then it drops,
But what should I scream for? This is my theme park
My mind shine even when my thoughts seem dark,
Pistol on my side you don't wanna hear that thing talk,
Let the king talk, check the price, and pay attention,
Lil' Wayne, that's what they gotta say or mention,
I'm like Nevada in the middle of the summer,
I'm restin in the lead I need a pillow and a cover,
Shhh...my foot's sleepin on the gas,
No brake pads, no such thing as last...huh!

Chorus:
It may not mean nothin to yall
But understand nothin was done to me
So I don't plan at stoppin at all
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...)
I'm shuttin' sh-t down in the mall
and tellin' every girl she's the one for me
and I ain't even plannin to call,
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...ever mane...)

Verse 4 Eminem:
There they go, packin stadiums as Shady spits his flow,
Nuts they go, macademian so ballistic whoa,
We can make them look like Bozos, he's wonderin if he should spit this slow,
F--k no, go for broke, his cup just runneth over, oh no
He ain't had a buzz like this, since the last time that he overdosed,
They've been waitin patiently for Pinnochio to poke his nose,
Back into the game and they know, rap'll never be the same as before,
Bashin in the brains of these ho's and establishin a name as he goes,
The passion and the flame is ignited, you can't put it out once we light it,
This shit is exactly what the f--k that I'm talkin bout when we riot,
You deal with a group of villains who stand inside of the booth truth spillin'
Until our true feelins come flyin out our mouth never mind it
Payback motherf----r for the way you got at me hows it taste?
When I slap the taste outta your mouth with the bass so loud it shakes the place
I'm Hannibal Lecter so just in case you're thinkin' of savin' face
You ain't gonna have no face to save by the time I'm through, play some Drake...

Chorus:
It may not mean nothin to yall
But understand nothin was done to me
So I don't plan at stoppin at all
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...)
I'm shuttin' sh-t down in the mall
and tellin' every girl she's the one for me
and I ain't even plannin to call,
I want this s--t forever mane, (ever mane...ever mane...)

Run This Town Lyrics
Jay-Z feat. Kanye West & Rihanna

Rihanna Intro Chorus:
Feel it comin' in the air, (yea)
And there's screams from everywhere, (yea)
I'm addicted to the thrill, (I'm ready)
It's a dangerous love affair (uh, come on)
Can't be scared when it goes down,
Got a problem, tell me now,
Only thing that's on my mind,
Is who's gonna run this tonight
Who's gonna run this tonight
We gonna run this town-

Verse 1 (Jay-Z):
We are, yea I said it we are,
This is ROC nation, pledge your allegiance,
Get your fatigues on, all black everything,
Black cards, black cars all black everything
And our girls are blackbirds ridin' with they dilingers,
I get more in Depp, if you boys really real enough,
This is La Familia, I'll explain later,
But for now let me get back to this paper,
I'm a couple bands down and I'm tryin to get back,
I gave up a grip, I lost a fifth of five stacks,
Yeah I'm talkin 5 commas, 6 zeroes,
Dot zeroes, here to
Back to run circles round n----s now we squared up...Hold up!

Rihanna Chorus:
Life's a game but it's not fair,
I break the rules so I don't care,
So I keep doin' my own thing,
Walkin' tall against the rain,
Victory's within the mile,
Almost there don't give up now,
Only thing that's on my mind
Is who's gonna run this town tonight?
Hey-ay-ay-aya-ay
ay-ay-ay-ay-ay

Verse 2 (Jay-Z):
We are, yea I said it we are
You can call me Caes-ar, in a dot Caesar
Please follow the leader
So Eric B we are, Microphone fiend it's the return of the God,
Peace God, uh uh, there ain't nobody fresher,
I'm in Mason, Martin margella ,
On the table screamin' F--- the other side they jealous,
We got a bank head full of broads, they got a table full of fellas, (Yeah--!!!)
And they ain't spendin' no cake,
They should throw they hand in, cuz they ain't got no spades
My whole team got dough, so my bank head is lookin' like millionaire's fro- (Yeah---!!!)

Rihanna:
Life's a game but it's not fair,
I break the rules so I don't care,
So I keep doin' my own thing,
Walkin' tall against the rain,
Victory's within the mile,
Almost there don't give up now,
Only thing that's on my mind
Is who gonna run this town tonight?
Hey-ay-ay-aya-ay
ay-ay-ay-ay-ay

Verse 3: (Kanye West)
It's crazy how you can go from bein' Joe Blow,
To everybody on your d--k, no homo,
I bought my whole family whips, no Vo-lvo's,
Next time I'm in church, please no photos,
Police escorts, everybody passports,
This the life that everybody ask for,
This a fast life, we are on a crash course,
What you think I rap for, to push a f-----n' RAV4?
But I know that if I stay stunt-ing,
All these girls only gonna want one thing,
I can spend my whole life Good Will Hunting,
Only good that gonna come, is the good when I'm com-ing,
She got an ass that'll swallow up a G-string,
And up top, uh! two bee stings,
And I'm beasting off the Riesling,
And my n---a just made it out the precinct,
We give a damn about the drama that your dude bring,
I'm just tryin' change the color on your mood ring,
Reebok baby, you need to try some new things,
Have you ever had shoes without shoestrings?
What's that Ye? Baby these heels,
Is that a may what? Baby these wheels,
You trippin' when you ain't sippin, have a refill,
You feelin' like you runnin huh, now you know how we feel-

(What's up?)

Rihanna outro:
Hey-ay-ay-aya-ay
ay-ay-ay-ay
Hey-ay-ay-aya-ay
ay-ay-ay-ay
Hey-ay-ay-aya-yea
ay-ay-ay-ay
We gon' run this town tonight-

I'm Kinda Like a Big Deal Lyrics - The Clipse & Kanye West

the clipse

Not long ago, Virginia rap group The Clipse released their sophomore album "Hell Hath no Fury" which was considered an instant classic everywhere. The Clipse continue to bank on their recent success with yet another track full of lyrical fire power, backed by a headnoddin' DJ Khalil beat. Kanye West also gets in on the action in verse 2, adding even more power to this track. If this song's any indication of the rest of their album plus news Clipse has been working with Rick Rubin- we're possibly going to receive another classic release by Clipse. Their 3rd album is due out Summer 2009 entitled "Til' the Casket Drops". Here's the full lyrics for "Kinda Like a Big Deal" by Clipse featuring Kanye West.

Kinda Like A Big Deal (feat. Kanye West) - Clipse

Til the casket drops
Third times a charm right?
hehe ha
Come on!

Verse 1

I'm kinda like a big deal
It's unbelievable u see my warning gives u big chills
The flow runnin on Big's heels
My life after death, Big ain't get to see how this feels
Third time's a charm baby
After two classics another stripe up on my arm baby
It's a blessin' to blow a hundred thou in a recession
With no second guessin,
Ha ha we're ballin, drop tops we're floorin
Champagne we're pourin
Re-up is the gang and I'm all in!
To the powder & the flame I have fallin!
Get money blow money is my callin
Yea! Watch a n---a burn through it
Life's a maze, you twist and you turn through it
The driest of droughts, maneuvered and I earned through it
I'm set straight like a perm do it, Push!

Chorus:
They whisperin about us
I know you haters doubt us
How you count our money we ain't even finish countin
Pardon me I must say, I'm kinda like a big deal...

Verse 2 (Kanye West):
Ay yo I'm sittin on top of the-
It's more than a feeling ain't it?
I be killin dame it, I'm illin and I'm illin' -
Eh eh eh meet Mr. Popular
Go get your binoculars
And see Penthouse 3 where a n----a be
Spittin fire on the PJ in my PJ's
Fire Marshall said I took it to the Max like TJ
Yea people I said Marshalls we play
I guess I'm like the Black Marshall meets Jay
Meet Ye' alligator souffle, had it made
Special Ed got head from a girl in special ed
Ya know the pretty ones in that dumb class--
But she got that dumb ass
Hit high school and got pregnant dumb fast
What happen Tisha, your boyfriend come fast?
Turn around gimme pound like we folks
Hell no I went Raw dog three strokes

Chorus:
They whisperin about us
I know you haters doubt us
How you count our money we ain't even finish countin
Pardon me I must say, I'm kinda like a big deal...

Verse 3:
Lights, cameras, action!
The chain itself's a damn distraction
You claim the belt, the glory I bask in
I be hoppin the ring, n----s ya cash in
It's like stoppin a train,
N---a think he's stoppin my reign
Talk slick while droppin my name?
I'm puttin yall to shame, diamonds in the little hand
50 percent splits I X out the middle man
A far cry from a stash in the rental van
I'm the reason the hood need a dental plan
Ladies & gentle-man, introducin'
The C4S with the rims protrudin'
The roof vamoose, like a magic show
Got me lookin' to the heavens like a javelin throw
Yall twiddle your thumbs like the average joe
But just as you reap, so shall u sow...

Chorus:

They whisperin about us
I know you haters doubt us
How you count our money we ain't even finish countin
Pardon me I must say, I'm kinda like a big deal...

Kanye West in Details Mag

kanye west details magazine cover

The latest issue of Details magazine has rapper turned singer turned fashion icon, Kanye West gracing the cover with the words "The Ego has Landed" beneath the star's name. Inside the mag's pages, West discusses everything from his ideal female companion, his thoughts on what others think about his "808's" album, and all about how he created a video game featuring a penis as the hero when he was a kid. You read that right, here's the quoted material:

My game was very sexual. The main character was, like, a giant penis. It was like Mario Brothers, but the ghosts were, like, vaginas. Mind you, I'm 12 years old, and this is stuff 30-year-olds are programming. You'd have to draw in and program every little step—it literally took me all night to do a step, 'cause the penis, y'know, had little feet and eyes."

...Aside from all that, West also discusses how his next project is not music but rather fashion, a popular business area which other rappers such as Jay-Z, Pharrell and Outkast have ventured into. West has grand inspirations and a top role model from the industry.

From Details Magazine:

West has long been a fixture in the front rows in Milan and Paris, but he's both anxious and cocky about his line of sneakers hitting the Paris runway. Anxious because he's the first to admit he's a fledgling designer. And cocky because he couldn't care less how clichéd the idea of a rapper taking over fashion with signature sneakers may seem. "I'm all about clichés now!" he says. "People base their opinions on cliché. There's a reason why they're clichés: 'I was gonna wear a coat today, but it would be so cliché.' How about some pants—if it's not too cliché?"

West has had his own clothing line, Pastelle, for three years, and the fashion world has exacted its pound of flesh from him much as he once did from drug dealers eager to make it as producers. "The big payback," he calls it. "I work with different designers and they'll see me coming, saying 'I wanna do this line,' and they're like, 'Cool, give me $150,000 for two weeks' work'! It's like, 'This dude is so eager to get in—he's a millionaire who doesn't know his ass from his face, and we're gonna charge him up the ***** *** for a sketch, for an idea, for a sample.' Every time I did a sample line—it was over a quarter-million."

Kanye seems to find success in most projects he's undertaken, so the fashion line could be another highlight on his creative and artistic resume. Read the full story about Kanye West from Details magazine here.
