Rihanna Almost Naked for 'All of the Lights' Video by Kanye West

The new Kanye West music video has arrived for his latest track, "All of the Lights." Many hip hop and music fans will be pleased to see a nearly naked Rihanna. That's right, this is Rihanna's almost nude video debut (leaked sex tapes aside). This song, from West's album, was featured prominently almost like the official theme song of NBA All-Star Weekend 2011, and it seems to fit. Not only that, but Rihanna, who is featured on the song and in the video rocked the Halftime show in Los Angeles this weekend. After several songs, Drake showed up to help her on "What's My Name?" followed by Kanye West appearing on stage to do "All of the Lights." The video, seen via YouTube below, was done by Hype Williams and features you guessed it, "All of the Lights," including West rocking up on a police car. Still the best lights seem to be the ones behind RiRi as she sings "want you to see everything." In a revealing black outfit, we almost do! Kanye West's Unfinished 'Monster' Music Video Leaks Online

The new Kanye West 'Monster' video leak has the internet talking. This appears to be one unique, gory, controversial and intriguing new video on the way from West, Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj. The unfinished new video of the collaborative joint from West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" is seen below. It's definitely dark and twisted, and as Kanye says in the song "I cross the line, but I let God decide." Two more videos below. The behind the scenes YouTube video below shows the filming of Rick Ross' scenes from the video. Apparently Ross plays the part of some sort of Hannibal Lecter eating a bloody meal with a female layed out on the dinner table. There's also a 40 second sneak preview video which has been making the rounds on YouTube. West probably isn't happy to see these leaks and may be severing some heads for real soon. Other scenes have been described to show Kanye West holding a severed head and making out with a dead chick. Jay-Z is shown in a full suit rapping in front of a dead girl's body on the couch. Nicki Minaj will apparently be rapping to another version of herself strapped to an executioner's chair. While this video probably would've been best for Halloween 2010, obviously the Kanye West album came out weeks after that. Jay-Z has topped the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list for 2010. The rap star earned $63 million in 2010. The second place entrant, Sean "Diddy" Combs earned less than half Jigga's amount with just $30 million. Just $30 million right? It's being reported that stability was key in 2010 because the economy's effected everyone, even rappers. Kanye West will give 2010 MTV VMA's Performance

(Kanye - "I'mma let you finish") Have the MTV viewers forgave and forgotten Kanye West? According to the latest reports, rap star Kanye West will be a performer at this year's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA's). The rapper is infamous for his on-stage interruption when Taylor Swift was winning her first ever VMA at the show in 2009. The incident brought a lot of negative criticism towards Kanye and rightfully so. Now it appears Kanye's back with new perspective. He apologized multiple times to Swift and publicly, but are fans ready to re-embrace the rapper? He appeared as part of the 2010 remake of "We are the World", and kept a low profile otherwise. Kanye had a few guest spots and production offerings to the likes of Rick Ross and Drake among others. It left fans wondering what was next for Kanye in terms of his own solo career. Have no fear, weeks ago Mr. West re-emerged with a new song, but it offered no apologies. Kanye's latest hit single is "Power" an ego-driven rap which will come from his next solo album "Good Ass Job". Recently, he debuted another song featuring Beyonce from the album due out in November. Kanye's already performed for the BET Awards, but really needs to do a "Good Ass Job" on stage at this year's VMA's in order to sell music lovers on his act once again. Taylor Swift on The View, Kanye Apology #4

According to recent reports from USMagazine.com, rapper singer Taylor Swift was contacted by Kanye West via telephone following her Tuesday appearance on ABC's The View. Swift reported she accepted the apology and in the future she'd be fine around the rapper/producer. "Kanye did call me. He was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology," Swift told ABC News Radio. Asked if in the future, everything would be fine between the two, she replied, "Yeah, definitely." In the YouTube clip below, Swift makes her appearance on ABC's The View to discuss her emotional ride at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, which included riding the NY Subway for her performance of "You Belong to Me", just moments after the whole Kanye West incident went down. This marks apology #4 from Kanye West, but the first that was made directly while in contact with Swift. His previous 3 included two blog entries (one in ALL CAPS) and an appearance on The Jay Leno Show Monday night. Taylor's definitely getting a ton of publicity out of this, not that she asked for it, but to think a musician minds when more people are googling her and learning about her music, would be preposterous.

Kanye West on Jay Leno Show

(Leno interviews West re: Swiftgate incident) NBC's Jay Leno couldn't have asked for a more perfectly-timed guest for his new show as he kicked off his new primetime series. On Monday night controversial rap star Kanye West was on the Jay Leno Show, just one night after West interrupted Taylor Swift on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards. The interview was a last minute thing, as West was there to perform with Jay-Z and Rihanna for the Blueprint 3 hit song "Run this Town". Jay Leno didn't have too many laughs during the interview, but earlier in the night joked that maybe President Obama would invite West and Swift to have a "root beer summit" with him and patch things up. Speaking of the pres, Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" in an off the record talk during an interview, when asked about the incident. As for Kanye, the rapper noted that he wants to take time off to reflect on his life and figure out how to improve. He apologized again, after issuing an apology earlier on his blog. "So many celebrities, they never take the time off," he said. "I've never taken the time off to really -- you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, 'cause, and I don't try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That's period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve." The emotional moment of the Leno interview came when Jay asked Kanye what his mother would think about what he did at the VMA's. West paused for several moments and eventually agreed with Leno that she'd probably give him a lecture for what he did. Lil' Mama issues MTV VMA Apology

Now both of last night's troublemakers from the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards have made public apologies for their meddlesome activities. Kanye West blogged his and Lil Mama released a statement of her own, about her reasons for jumping on stage at the end of Jay-Z & Alicia Key's "Empire State of Mind" performance. From EW: Lil Mama has issued a statement to explain why she ran on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. “I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,” the rapper/America’s Best Dance Crew judge says. “I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up on stage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.” Fans continue to be irate over her actions saying that other rap stars who rep New York were in the audience but chose to stay in their seats. Beyonce had more right to be on stage than Lil' Mama, the former Lip Gloss queen, but as we all know B has what Lil' Mama and Kanye West lack: class. Unfortunately it seems as if the MTV VMA's have turned into more of a high school talent show, in terms of the way attendees get involved. In these instances though, there's no strict principal to grab the rowdy individual by their neck and yank them off stage. Kanye West & Lil Mama probably aided the MTV awards by making some noise and generating buzz, but neither did anything worthy of an award, and both need to learn to stay in their seats when attending a show. That is unless, they'd allow fans to randomly run up on stage and hang with them during performances. Well, only Kanye needs to worry about that one...

Kanye West Blog Apology to Taylor Swift

After last night's MTV Music awards 2009 Kanye West Taylor Swift incident, the rapper issued an apology to Taylor Swift, her fans and mother. Since there's no official Kanye West Twitter page (Ye hates the site), he used the next best thing, his blog. From Kanye's blog: "I'm so sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment! Beyonce's video was the best of this decade!!! I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!! I'm sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw (tomorrow). Welcome to the real world!!! Everybody wanna boo me but I'm a fan of real pop culture! No disrespect but we watchin' (watching) the show at the crib right now cause...well you know!!! I'm still happy for Taylor!!! Booyaa. You are very very talented. I gave my award to Outkast when they deserved it over me. That's what it is! I'm not crazy yall (y'all), I'm just real. Sorry for that! I really feel bad for Taylor and I'm sincerely sorry!!! The stage-rushing incident came early on in the show, moments after Madonna had made a speech remembering Michael Jackson, and then a tribute performance was done on stage with Jackson dancers, and the late singer's sister arriving out to perform "Scream". Taylor Swift had just won the Best Female video VMA and while she was on stage with her moon man award statue, West interrupted, yanking the mic from her hands to proclaim Beyonce's "Single Ladies" as one of the best videos of all time. After West left the stage, Swift stood in silence stunned. She began her speech but the MTV people chose to start showing a video skit on the big screen featuring Tracy Morgan, which cut her off. Later in the show, Beyonce won Video of the Year, and in a moment of true grace, she invited Swift back on stage to have her award-winning moment. Many are now praising Beyonce for her move, while Kanye continues to get the not so friendly treatment. Fans and celebs alike were buzzing and downright mad about Kanye's interference, as singers Pink and Katy Perry sounded off on Twitter. It's unlikely we'll see any Pink, Borat, or Katy Perry collaborations with West anytime soon. Whether Jay-Z was fashionably late or it was just part of the show, the rapper closed out the strange, controversial and interesting 2009 MTV VMA's with a hardcore rap performance. Jay-Z took to the stage after MTV continually announced he was on his way to the venue several times. Possibly to build hype, or he really was late for the show. Still it was a spirited and boisterous performance by the duo of Jay's Blueprint 3 hit song "Empire State of Mind". Jay's wife Beyonce bootylicious self was shown dancing front row to the track. Kanye West's Swift VMA Entrance 2009

(Kanye interrupts Swift's award moment, MTV VMA 2009) Another year, another controversial MTV live awards show goes down in history. And yet another MTV VMA's where awards were given to recognize music videos rarely even seen on MTV. But as of September 13th and beyond, the internet will continue to buzz about the MTV VMA Awards show 2009 edition, including "What did Kanye West do?" and "Who is Russell Brand?" It didn't take rapper Kanye West long at all to get himself in hot water at yet another MTV awards show. This time around, West wasn't even griping about himself losing an award. Instead, he rushed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift's award acceptance for Best Female video, and basically proclaimed that Beyonce had been robbed of the award. Beyonce had a stunned reaction in the crowd, and the audience eventually turned against Ye with boos. It was also reported that various celebs were not happy with Kanye, including Pink who gave him a disgusted look as she walked by. MTV Shows All was not lost though, as Beyonce later won Video of the Year for "Single Ladies" and during her acceptance invited Taylor Swift back on stage to have her moment. Beyonce claimed she knew what it was like to win for the first time when she won with Destiny's Child a while back. Taylor graciously thanked all the fans, and her little brother's high school for allowing them to film the video. The impressive opening moment of the show saw Madonna come out at the opening to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. Madonna recalled a story of when she tried to get to know the shy superstar. She also brought up how they grew apart, and how a "witch-hunt" began for Michael. Madonna talked of Jackson being unique and rare, but also a human being who we unfortunately had to lose to appreciate more. From there they launched into a tribute to Jackson, with classic videos playing on the big screen and dancers on stage recreating the moves while decked out in classic MJ costumes. The opening bit also saw a surprise performance from the late Michael's sister, Janet as she exploded out onto the stage to do her part from "Scream" while the black and white spaced out video played behind her. Jermaine and Joe Jackson were in the house to see the unveiling of concert footage from a Michael Jackson movie that will be released at a later date. Still wondering who the host was? It was British actor Russell Brand of Forgetting Sarah Marshall fame who hosted the fast-paced show which lacked comedic punch. Wale performed with a house band in various segments to the side of the stage. The post show seemed to lack anything special as they analyzed the "Tweets" from Twitter regarding the show. To make things even stranger, MTV correspondent and personality Sway tried to call his brother on his new LG phone to get his opinion of the show. Fortunately for Sway and MTV, it went to voice mail. September 11th, comes 10 days early as MTV has a full album preview of the upcoming Jay-Z album "Blueprint 3" which features his hit tracks "DOA (Death of Autotune)", "Run this Town" and the newest song leaked on the net featuring Drake, "Off That". It seems on this album Jay-Z has gone for a more experimental and definitely crossover sound to appeal to a range of fans. On American Gangster it was straight Jay, just like back in the day. Could easily see this one becoming a hot, chart topping single, if Hov chooses to unleash it. "Now you're in New York, these streets will make you feel brand new, big lights will inspire you...let's hear it for New York" Alicia sings in the boisterous and upbeat chorus. The final track featuring Mr. Hudson is yet another sample laced crossover style track with the "Forever Young" chorus you're likely to recognize. That may be a single, but who knows right now. With Jay-Z's third installment in the Blueprint trilogy due out September 11, 2009, they've now shown the official tracklist. Blueprint 3 will feature a guest-heavy track offering including the likes of Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Young Jeezy, Mr. Hudson, Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Drake. Jigga only takes three tracks solo on this venture, so it will be an interesting follow-up to his critically acclaimed "American Gangster" project. Kanye West in Details Mag

The latest issue of Details magazine has rapper turned singer turned fashion icon, Kanye West gracing the cover with the words "The Ego has Landed" beneath the star's name. Inside the mag's pages, West discusses everything from his ideal female companion, his thoughts on what others think about his "808's" album, and all about how he created a video game featuring a penis as the hero when he was a kid. You read that right, here's the quoted material: My game was very sexual. The main character was, like, a giant penis. It was like Mario Brothers, but the ghosts were, like, vaginas. Mind you, I'm 12 years old, and this is stuff 30-year-olds are programming. You'd have to draw in and program every little step—it literally took me all night to do a step, 'cause the penis, y'know, had little feet and eyes." ...Aside from all that, West also discusses how his next project is not music but rather fashion, a popular business area which other rappers such as Jay-Z, Pharrell and Outkast have ventured into. West has grand inspirations and a top role model from the industry. From Details Magazine: West has long been a fixture in the front rows in Milan and Paris, but he's both anxious and cocky about his line of sneakers hitting the Paris runway. Anxious because he's the first to admit he's a fledgling designer. And cocky because he couldn't care less how clichéd the idea of a rapper taking over fashion with signature sneakers may seem. "I'm all about clichés now!" he says. "People base their opinions on cliché. There's a reason why they're clichés: 'I was gonna wear a coat today, but it would be so cliché.' How about some pants—if it's not too cliché?" West has had his own clothing line, Pastelle, for three years, and the fashion world has exacted its pound of flesh from him much as he once did from drug dealers eager to make it as producers. "The big payback," he calls it. "I work with different designers and they'll see me coming, saying 'I wanna do this line,' and they're like, 'Cool, give me $150,000 for two weeks' work'! It's like, 'This dude is so eager to get in—he's a millionaire who doesn't know his ass from his face, and we're gonna charge him up the ***** *** for a sketch, for an idea, for a sample.' Catch it now while it's still up, the rap collab performance which brought the house down at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards!
