DC Comics Next Superhero Movie?

You've seen Spiderman, Batman, Superman, X-Men, Iron Man & The Incredible Hulk...Now make way for a new green Hero to take to the screen in 2010..DC Comics hero Green Lantern will be the next in line, following the success of other DC heroes, Superman and Batman. The filming location is up in the air right now, as Sydney, Australia is being heavily considered. As far as the main star of the movie, rumors have The Notebook star, Ryan Gosling, set to play the Green Lantern character. The estimated budget for the film is around $150 million, and the plot will center on a superhero who uses a magic ring to fight crime. The director will be Greg Berlanti, who currently works on the shows Dirty Sexy Money and Brothers & Sisters. The decision as to where the movie films should be decided soon in Los Angeles.
