TIME's Top 10 Songs of 2008
TIME magazine's December 22nd issue has a look back at the year 2008's best and worst through a series of lists. The following is TIME's Top 10 Songs of 2008, which is always open for debate.1. Love Lockdown - Kanye West Kanye West continues to rule music, no matter what form his comes in. TIME calls his Love Lockdown "easily the most interesting musical experiment this year". There's been plenty of criticism against the rapper for his sing-songy experimental album, 808s & Heartbreak. As for Lil' Wayne, he's got the full page photo next to the list and TIME says its rare a Wayne song go by without him claiming he's ill. Then again isn't that what most rappers say? It's been a great year for Wayne though, as he has several Grammy nominations for Tha Carter III and various songs heading into the 2009's awards show.
